What We Do
Why. The statistics can be overwhelming—55% of the world’s population lives on less than $2 per day, there are 153 million orphans, 27 million slaves and 350,000 women who die in childbirth every year. The cause and effect of all of these problems are complex and intertwined; yet we believe that behind every statistic is a person of great value and potential.
Statistics help us understand the scope of the problem, but it is the people that we meet—the orphaned child, the youth vulnerable to trafficking, and the mother seeking to provide for her children—that continues to motivate us to provide opportunities for transformation and hope.
How. Through innovation and strategic public private partnerships, we are working to sustain and empower individuals, communities and organizations that are implementing best practice programs to eradicate poverty and its negative effects. Our model is based on the principle of Mark 4:8, "Other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they yielded a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” We believe that each investment catalyzes great change.
In keeping with our desire to support the good work of other programs, we continue to support organizations that are doing good work across the globe. We are actively partnering with Children’s Hope in Haiti, Root Ministries in Honduras, Reaching Indians Ministries International in India, Ciudad de Ángeles and YUGO Ministries in Mexico, Stella’s Voice in Moldova, New Life Children’s Home in Peru, Impact Ministries in Uganda, and Adullam House in the United States.
